What is a Disciple?

- Common men and women (no social status required)
- They had jobs, families, hobbies, and social lives
- Originally thought they were going to be trained as rabbi’s
- None were aware of what would be required of them after Jesus’ ascension
- In only a few years, these simple men were standing before some of the most powerful rulers on earth and being accused of “turn[ing]the world upside down” (Acts 17:6)
